Wunmi mosaku is a Nigerian-born British actress. She was born on July 31,1986 in Zaria, Nigeria. Mosaku moved to Manchester, England at the age of one. She is celebrated for her versatility and powerful performance across film, television and stage.

Mosaku was born in Zaria, Nigeria to Yoruba parents who were both professors. Mosaku attended Trinity Church of England high school and xaverian sixth form college. She also sang in the Manchester Girls choir for 11 years. Her passion for acting led her to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) where she graduated in 2007 with a BA in acting. Mosaku professional stage debut was in 2007 at the Arcola Theatre in “The Great Theatre of the World”. Her breakthrough role came in 2009 as joy in the BBC two ministries Moses Jones, earning her the best actress award at the Rome fiction festival. She has since appeared in notable roles such as; Vera (2011-2012) as Holly Lawson, Luther (2019) as part of the fifth series, Lovecraft country(2020) as Ruby Baptiste, Loki (2021) as Hunter B-15, Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) reprising her role as Hunter B-15, sinners (2025) as Annie.
